Going to the gym isn't the only way to get in a great workout. Working out at home can be just as effective. The Pyramid Training Plan For Home - Barbells and Dumbbells is a 6 week plan that will help you utilise limited equipment and maximise your time.
What you'll need for this home training plan: adjustable dumbbells that you can add weight to or sets of dumbbells, and an adjustable bar that you can add weight to. Pyramid training involves doing a series of sets where you increase the weight and decrease the number of reps in each successive set. This technique can be applied to all exercises.
The training plan will be split into four workouts: Chest & Back, Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, Shoulders & Arms, and Glutes & Core.
You can choose to train three or four days per week.
For weeks 1-4, the rep ranges are 15, 12, and 8 reps. For weeks 5-6, the rep ranges are 12, 8, and 5 reps.
